Welcome to JasonBurkeMD.org!

The mission of  JasonBurkeMD.org is to educate various segments of our community about health issues and risks surrounding recreational substance usage.  Our research, programs, and services will be guided by the following objectives:

  1. Educate legal age adults about the health issues connected to overindulgence of alcohol and other recreational substances
  2. Educate minors about the risks of alcohol and recreational substance usage, including abuse of uncommon drugs such as bath salts, glue, and other inhalants

Welcome to the blog of Jason BurkeMD.org. Here I hope to educate the general public about issues related to recreational substance. I acknowledge the fact that humans have utilized various substances throughout history as a way to decompress, relax, and escape. While the nature of the substances has changed, the fact that they can cause ill effects has not.

After practicing anesthesiology in Las Vegas for over seven years,, I discovered that many people were doing things that were directly, or indirectly, harmful to their health while enjoying their vacation here in Las Vegas.
